About The Daily Five

The Daily Five is a five-minute brain break. Every day we serve up three small joys:

• Five trivia questions — a fresh mix of geography, science, history, sports, food, animals, and space. Easy ones, sneaky ones, and at least one that makes you say "huh, really?"
• One clean joke — the kind of dad joke you can safely repeat to your kids, your coworkers, or your grandmother.
• One word scramble — a single scrambled word to untangle, with a hint if you want one.

Everything resets at midnight, your local time. Everybody who plays on the same day gets the same quiz, the same joke, and the same scramble — so your score is honestly comparable to your friends'. Play daily and you'll build a streak; share your score and challenge someone to beat it.
